PHPhoto is the Biggest and Most Active Organization of Photographers in the Philippines! Founded Feb 2, 2004 by John Mateos Ong, this group was originally a YahooGroup organization that evolved into a message board to offer its members more features. It was created both for Professional Photographers and Amateur and Hobbyist Filipino photographers.
The goals for creating this site are:
- To be a venue where people can have fun while learning from each other.
- To be a group that protects rights welfare of photographers by educating them about standard industry practices.
- To be a venue for business and trade. Infact, PHPHOTO is probably the best way to reach the photographers market.
- To remind its members that it is God who gives us the ultimate talent to create beautiful pictures. For it is written:
"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him" Isaiah 64:4
